Jo Sercombe
Jo works in Bath and nationally as a vocalist, Musical Director and workshop leader and is particularly keen to make singing accessible to all, regardless of skill or experience. Her busy workshops schedule is a testament to her flair for encouraging creativity in others as she travels the country working with adult singing groups, community choirs, schools and colleges, businesses and leisure-time learning institutions. She’s even taken to singing upon the high seas, working with world cruise passengers sailing round the Far East and the Caribbean! Closer to home, she founded and directs the Bath Community Gospel Choir and the Vivid gospel trio, teaches Singing for Actors at Bath Spa University and creates original music with Young Carers through Bath Philharmonia’s Education programme & Outreach. Jo enjoys her role as President of the Priston Music Festival and working as a workshop leader for The Ambassador Theatre Group in London’s West End.

Mike Daniels
Mike Daniels – “a jovial musician of diverse genres”.
A varied career in education and performing has led trumpeter and conductor Mike to work with a plethora of incredible musicians including world leaders in jazz and baroque music. As such he has developed a conducting style formed from stylistic integrity with clarity and passion and fed by a broad and eclectic experience.
He is Music Director of Cantamus Chamber Choir performing varied standard and non-standard repertoire including several of Haydn’s masses, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solonelle, Kodaly, Ola Gjielo’s Sunrise Mass, Will Todd’s Mass in Blue, the UK premiere of Nils Lindberg Christmas Cantata with GBH Big Band, also performing Bach’s St John and St Matthew Passions with English Touring Opera and the Old Street Band. He has tackled fabulous repertoire with the male choir Men with Horns including Schubert, Bruckner and notably Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody.
As Musical Director of the WMC Chorus based at the Wiltshire Music Centre he has worked with English Touring Opera training the chorus for a staged performance of Weill’s The Silver Lake in 2019 and for the Bach Passions, also working with Gwilym Simcock on a new commission for jazz nonet and choir. He has trained the chorus, working alongside Tenebrae and Voces8 for performances at the WMC. Community productions of African Sanctus and Britten’s Noyes Fludde have helped develop his passion for bringing professionals, amateurs and young musicians together to make high quality performances. He has conducted Duke Ellington’s Sacred Concert with three choirs, big band and jazz vocalist Tina May and other similar projects, I Got Gershwin with Emma Smith and Perfectly Frank featuring Denny Illet. In 2018 instigated and conducted only the second performance of Soulful Messiah – A Celebration with Black Voices and Town Hall Gospel Choir from Birmingham and newly formed Soul Celebration Community Choir.
As a jazz educator he leads the Wiltshire Youth Jazz Orchestra and Wiltshire Jazz Academy and is MD of GBH Big Band working with Claire Martin, Georgina Jackson, Emma Smith, Jason Rebello, Dennis Rollins, Gwilym Simcock, Jason Yarde, Scott Stroman and many of the country’s finest jazz musicians. In November he was thrilled to work with Pete Churchill, one of the country’s best kept choral secrets.

Clara Atkins
Clara Atkins runs Sing With Clarity, under which she leads Clarity Community Choirs (Bath & Trowbridge) and runs a number of workshops throughout the year. All Sing With Clarity choirs and singing workshops follow the principles of the Natural Voice Network (https://www.naturalvoice.net/).​ All her workshops and choirs are open-access and unaccompanied. They are as much about having fun as they are about singing.
She also leads Doves Peace Choir, a smaller choir who sing songs to promote love, peace and justice. They perform regularly throughout the year at concerts and other events.

Beth Morgan
Beth Morgan is known online internationally as The Creative Choir Leader. Her CCL newsletter, blog, website, Facebook group and online membership supports over 1.5K choir leaders from around the world. In this role she has worked with Mark De Lisser, Deke Sharon (Pitch Perfect), John Rutter, Bob Chilcott, Karen Gibson (The Kingdom Choir), Kim Samuels (Renewal Choir), Roger Emerson (world’s top selling arranger for pop choral music), Suzzi Vango (How to Make Your Choir Sound Awesome), Greg Link (Apollo 5) and Joanna Tomlinson (National Youth Choir of Great Britain) to name but a few. Leading choirs for 30 years, Beth is formerly the Musical Director for the Bristol Military Wives Choir (2015-2024) and the founder of The Great Day Choir (2017-present). Beth is in demand as choir workshop leader. In September 2024, she is launching The Bristol Groove - a contemporary jazz, pop and soul choir for mixed voices.

I have been bringing music to people for over 25 years in my capacity as musical director, choir leader, composer, arranger and teacher. As an enthusiastic, skilled and motivated musician I enjoy inspiring others to become fully involved and exceed their expectations. I work across all genres from Classical Choral tradition, Musical Theatre, and Pop, conducting a diverse range of choirs and orchestras, and also compose arrangements by commercial request. Matt has run MyPubChoir for several years - and gets random people together in a pub, and teaches them pop and rock songs, creating a unique blend!

Tim Richards
Tim now is in high demand as a vocal coach in the UK and Internationally working in both the Classical and Musical Theatre world. In the UK he is based in Cardiff, where in addition to a thriving private practice, he is a Vocal Tutor on the MA Musical Theatre course at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He also has a busy private practice in Marylebone in London.
Many of Tim’s clients can be seen in the major productions of the West End and also in touring productions. In addition to his Musical Theatre work his clients can be seen working with ENO, WNO and ROH.
Tim regularly visits Helsinki City Theatre to work on Theatre productions. These have included; Dance of the Vampires, Shrek and Tarzan. He is also involved in training the actors to prepare for Musical Theatre productions.
Tim is also in demand as Vocal Coach to the Pop Industry having worked for Sony Records and SYCO and on ‘The X Factor’. Tim has coached the guest artist on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, ‘The Alan Titchmarsh Show’, ‘Children In Need’, ‘BGT’, ‘The Today Show’ (New York), ‘The Piers Morgan Show’ (L.A.) as well as the ‘Australian X Factor’. Tim was a vocal coach on the BBC programme ‘I’d Do Anything.’ He has coached one of the world’s leading chart sellers.
He is one of the UK’s most experienced Estill Teachers, and Wales’ only Estill Mentor & Course Instructor (EMCI) .
Tim regularly gives masterclasses and workshops to training schools and conservatoires in this country and abroad. Most recently he has been involved in training the Speech and Language Therapists in The Royal Exeter and Devon hospital, where he is involved in a clinical study of how to treat muscular tension dysphonia.
He has also given masterclasses and workshops at: RWCMD, ArtsEd, RAM, Drama Studio, GSA, Bath Academy of Music, National Theatre Academy Helsinki, Sibelius Academy Helsinki, Western College and Gloucester University.

Alice Dicker
Alice studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She is the Musical Director for the South Petherton Combined Arts Society Choir and the Mid Wessex Singers, and Vocal Coach at both Huish Episcopi Academy and Strode College. Alice has a handful of private students, and also works as a freelance singer and conductor.

Nick Bannan
Nicholas Bannan studied music at Clare College, Cambridge University, and received commissions from several choirs, the Guildhall String Ensemble and the Grieg Quartet. He taught at the University of Reading and the University of Western Australia, and the Yehudi Menuhin School. His research focuses on the evolutionary origins of the human singing voice. He edited with George Odam The Reflective Conservatoire (Ashgate, 2005), and edited Music, Language, and Human Evolution (OUP, 2012). As a teacher, he developed the evolutionarily informed pedagogical system he named ‘Harmony Signing’, which led to the publications Every Child a Composer (Peter Lang, 2019) and First Instruments (OUP, 2020).

Jack Hamilton
Originally a chorister at Worcester Cathedral, Jack later studied Music at Bristol University, graduating in 2013.
Since then, he has worked professionally as a vocalist and musician, touring the UK and Europe extensively in various bands, playing countless shows and festivals including Glastonbury and as a vocal coach.
Jack loves being a part of Show Choir, sharing his passion for singing with other musical theatre lovers!

Dan Pate
​Dan is passionate about the power of singing to bring people together. Dan believes choir rehearsals should be fun, accessible and rewarding - there’s nothing quite like the experience of singing fantastic harmonies in a group! He firmly believes that this is something everyone can benefit from - there's no such thing as "can't sing"! Dan has always loved music, studying at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts before training as a music teacher and working as a secondary Head of Music for many years. He began teaching community choirs in 2017 and now leads a number of choirs around the Bristol area including Big Friendly Choir, Choirs For Good Bristol, Pill Community Choir and The Raff Pack.
