A little bit about ChoirLab

In 2019 Matt Finch hosted the first ChoirLab in Bath at the University.  The idea was to give partipants an opportunity to experiment with different choir styles with different leaders in a safe and fun environment - a laboratory of Choirs.   

​

Since 2019 there has been a ChoirLab every year, including the pandemic year where we held the whole thing online and streamed 3 consecutive online choral workshops at one time.  Choir Leaders are predominantly from the South West, but other choir leaders come from afar, with the farthest coming from Australia in 2024!

​

As well as the 12 choir workshops to choose from, there are guest Choirs performing in the breaks, and a lunchtime, a BIG sing of a classical piece that everyone can either join in or listen to - with music and learning tracks in advance.

​

It's a great day of music, energy and freindship.  Come on your own, or bring a choir buddy, or why not invite your whole choir for the day?  You could visit Bath for the weekend, as there will be lots going on in the City Centre for you to enjoy.  I hope to see you there!
